Trish Stratus has indeed seem to be making good on her new career. After leaving the WWE a few years ago, she has been appearing in shows and television gigs and looking good. Many may recall that she had announced her retirement. Her departure from the WWE was indeed a big blow but like other divas before her, you just have to move on and make certain that your future is safe and secure.

But while she is no longer a regular, she still makes special appearances such as the RAW anniversary. Many miss Trish Stratus for her beauty and charm. Apparently, none of the divas have reached the caliber and electricity that she provided and from all indications, it may take some time to see anyone to equal what Trish Stratus had done for the WWE as far as popularity and ratings are concerned.

One thing going for Trish Stratus as well is that she is not getting any younger. She has to make sure that apart from wrestling, she still has a future to look forward to. Wise decisions which may be hard as well must be done and it just so happened that Trish Stratus is doing just that.

There were a lot of rumors that she left the WWE due to a lot of misunderstandings. But regardless, she would have left the WWE anyway due to personal concerns. The WWE did help push Stratus to superstardom. But it just comes to a point where there is life beyond the WWE, and that decision is indeed hard to make.

The WWE has been house to a plenty of onetime divas. Leading the listing include that of onetime women’s champions Lita and Trish Stratus. While these two divas have parted ways with the WWE, it remains a fact that they will ever be a region of the reality of wrestling entertainment. On the 15th anniversary festivity of the WWE, fans will be capable to view them again. But be reminded, this is one night simply. A plenty of the new WWE divas have tried to equalize their predecessors but often has to be done. Nothing beats the better and the better are paying a visit this coming December 10th on RAW.

For certain there will be new divas in the fold who will be there. And mind you, they may make easily by seeking tips from the more productive divas to grace the WWE colors at one moment or another. But for certain, their show doesn’t mean anything new than paying a civility show in lieu for the industry that they made renowned. We all know classical battles between Lita and Trish Stratus.

– The Miz has been paranoid about losing his job with WWE ever since someone convinced him to do a major rib on JBL that backfired on him. Backstage JBL is considered as untouchable and the worst kind of bully there can be, not to mention that he doesnt like Miz to begin with. Its not likely that he will be fired any time soon, but if he is, that is probably why. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trish_Stratus

– Elijah Burke is the new video game champion in the WWE locker room, after Shelton Benjamin who has won for four straight years retired from competition. Burke beat Carlito in the finals of the competition, winning a $2000 prize. The Toronto Star is reporting that Trish Stratus plans to open a yoga/fitness gym sometime in 2008 located in Toronto, Ontario.

Trish Stratus, the Toronto native, best known for her time with WWE, has signed on to be the host of the popular sketch-comedy troupe’s new talent search program, The Second City’s Next Comedy Legend, which will air on CBC.

The involvement with Second City is Stratus’ second large-scale go-around with the company. Stratus, who has also worked with sketch comedy troupes The Royal Canadian Air Farce and MadTV, did a series of performances at Second City’s Toronto theatre while rehabbing from a thumb injury in 2004.

The show, as Stratus explains, will have a similar format to America’s Next Top Model, with a taped format and the judges making all the cuts. For her part, Stratus will take the “Tyra Banks” role on the show as host and liaison between the judges and finalists. While we may not see Trish rolling around on the floor of a makeup room, crying after her locks get trimmed with garden shears, she says that you may see a bit of the supermodel in Stratus’ on-screen performance.

“Because it’s Second City, there will be a satirical twist to it,” Stratus comments, adding that she may pull a Banks and show up with a different hair-do every show, “just to poke fun at that.”

The finalists will be chosen from four cities across Canada (two from each city will advance to the show) — Vancouver on March 20, Calgary on March 24, Halifax on March 27 and Toronto on April 4 (audition forms are available online). Stratus herself would not be surprised at all to see a crowd of wrestling fans at the try-outs, if history plays any part in it……

Former WWE Women’s champion Trish Stratus will be hosting a talent search for Toronto’s Second City improv troupe. For more information, check out today’s article about the search for at this link. Stratus first became involved with the troupe while taking improvisational classes while being out with a broken thumb.

Jeff Sheridan sent along that a preview for WWE 24/7 in April is online at this link. The theme of the month looks to be famous wrestling managers and will also feature Florida Championship Wrestling.

Demolition Smash/Repo Man Barry Darsow is the latest focus on the WWE website’s Where Are They Now? article.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has a feature on WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka online at this link. When asked if his race played a part in Snuka never wearing the WWF championship, he responded, “I don’t think I experienced racism like that, brother. I’m very proud of my heritage. I just wanted to give my fans a show. Championships didn’t mean that much to me. My championship is entertaining the fans.”

Former WWF Oddity Kurrgan, real name Robert Maillet, was profiled today by Canada’s Globe and Mail for his role in the upcoming feature film 300 at this link. Mailet, who now works for a fan manufacturing company, had to ask for seven weeks off in order to make the film. It was noted in the article that his wrestling background helped get him the role of the Uber Immortal, and that he was trained by Bret Hart for a month before joining the then-World Wrestling Federation.
